Told everyone we’d be leaving at 9am knowing we’d get out by 10:30 for the 10-hour drive (which, when you add time zone change, bathroom stops, and miscellany, will be 14 hours) which will get us there precisely at 11pm. I’d like to make it earlier. We’ll see.
Had a chai latte from Mom’s Tassimo machine, repacked half the van and loaded it up, leaving Fiona a view space out the far window so now she can see scenery on both sides of the road, showered, chugged a cup of thick gooey coffee, wrote this, and we’re off half an hour early.
