Where Have We Been?

It’s been a couple of weeks since we posted anything and some of our fans have wondered where we’ve been. We’re still right here in Rice Lake, Wisconsin and will be through the end of the month. We’ve been working every day and nothing new and exciting has happened.

Until yesterday.

One of our friends, Karen J., called to say she’d be driving past Rice Lake in about an hour. So here was our chance to meet. We’ve communicated with Karen online and by phone. She follows all we do and recently purchased one of our business products. And here it just so happened that due to a strange mishap she’d be driving practically past our door.

So we arranged to take a little time on Sunday afternoon to meet her and her brother at Nancy’s Restaurant right across the street from where we’re staying. It was a very nice visit and once again, a real pleasure meeting one of our online fans in person!

So what else have we been up to?

Joel’s been busy working on his philosophy. And preparing his latest book for release this summer. In fact the first pre-order has already been placed!

We’ve also been working on websites for clients, including a new one still in progress for a virtual assistant, Pam Thompson. And helping another with some technical issues. Sue created a Facebook page for our web business, Spinhead Web Design. Sue has also been interviewed by a couple of students at Sierra College taking courses for virtual workers.

Mentally we’re preparing for our house sitting job in New Mexico in June and July. Time to start thinking about gas prices again and making sure we have enough funds to pay over $4.00 per gallon to drive from Wisconsin to New Mexico! So if you want to help out, let everyone you know about our services. :)

  1. I’m surprised the Universe didn’t send me into the Karen J, Joel, Sue vortex! Lucky you guys to get to meet. :-)

  2. Given that our car likes mid-grade or better, we have been paying a minimum of $6.00 a gallon for sometime now. I suspect, given the recent spike that we’re looking at closer to $6.80/gallon. Needless to say I walked to work, today.

  3. It would have been so much fun if you could have been here Caitlyn.

I know gas is even more expensive in Canada. I know we’d walk more there. We did walk across the street to meet with Karen rather than driving the car over. :)

  4. I’m so happy to have been (and had youse-guys be) part of a “new and exciting” spot for all of us…

Fear not, dear Caitlyn! The Spirograph of Life *will* bring us all to the same place at the same time, sooner or later! Meanwhile, we’re all Here, Yes? ;)

  5. Somehow I missed this little online party. Howdy, y’all.

At least I got to make the in real life party.

Seems there should be some sort of limited-use transporter, for when we really really wanna be somewhere but can’t make the trip. Special dispensation, something like that.
