What Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up?

Today Fiona heard Daddy say something about a friend who still doesn’t know what he wants to be when he grows up. Fiona then said, “I know what I want to be when I grow up!” So we asked her what she wanted to be. Her reply, “I want to do everything!”

She’s been exposed to a lot of different ideas growing up in our household. We’ve run several businesses from home since she first started walking. As she continues to grow, we want her to be exposed to other opportunities as well. Thus, the travel.

So, what do you want to be when you grow up?

  1. I thought there would be some interesting responses from all your creative friends. It’s a hard question to answer when you have been grown up for so long … and are very, very tired of adults who talk like that is a bad thing. Growing up = good.

In other veins, I await my next fix from the Vagabond Canfields. You can’t leave us more than 24 hours without a hit, we start getting restless. (Did you like my veins & fix metaphoric continuity?)

Off to terrorize, torture & teach young children…. Ah, Summer School. (I figure it’s win-win: they learn a couple of things, I earn enough money to go on vacation. Oh, and I’ve noticed out of 29 kids, about 17 are experiencing transformation in their ability to focus and follow direction. Using a revolutionary program of Balance Board & Bal-a-Vis-X and Fast ForWord! Nothing like a revolution for 10 to 16 year olds.)
